On October 26, School of Pharmacy held a lecture on rule of law publicity in Sanjiang Building 415. The lecture was presided over by Liu Zhengxin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean of the School of Pharmacy, and Xie Renhai, associate professor of Jiangsu University Law School, gave a lecture. All the student party members of School of Pharmacy, the development targets of party members, and party activists participated in this special lecture.

Xie Renhai introduced significance of promulgation and implementation of the Interpretation of the Highlights of the Civil Code to development of the rule of law. He used vivid and interesting language to explain the Civil Code on property rights, contracts, personality rights, marriage and family, inheritance, tort liability and other legal knowledge and classic cases closely related to university life.

Students had a deeper and more specific understanding of life under the rule of law, and feel the charm and significance of the law through this lecture.

After the meeting, Chen Yufei, a student party member of the School of Pharmacy, said law is a compulsory course in life. She said that we should not only protect ourselves with legal knowledge, but also fulfill the obligations stipulated by the law. We should love our country and work hard, and carry forward the spirit of self-improvement and honesty in study and life.
