On February 25th, 2022, Lu Jie, the Secretary of School of Pharmacy, Liu Zhengxin, the Vice Secretary of School of Pharmacy, Tong Shanshan, the School Deputy Dean and members of central laboratory carried out a laboratory safety and epidemic prevention inspection. This inspection further strengthened laboratory safety management, helped ensure the personal safety of teachers and students and built a harmonious and safe experimental environment removing obstacles to scientific research related work.

The inspection mainly focused on epidemic prevention, storage of hazardous chemicals, waste disposal, cylinder management, water and electricity usage, fire protection and other aspects. Problems found during the inspection were corrected on the spot, and relevant laboratories were required to complete rectification in time.

The inspection strengthened the laboratories’ safety awareness, promoted the safety and epidemic prevention measures to be implemented, helped prevent the occurrence of all kinds of safety accidents.
