On November 25-26, 2023, the 7th National Pharmacy/Chinese Pharmacy College Students Experimental Skills Competition was held in Zunyi Medical University, Guizhou. Our students Cao Shaoyang and Jing Lingjie stood out in the competition and won the first and second prizes respectively.

This competition has 126 medical universities including Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, a total of 250 players participated, more than 700 teachers and students participated, is the largest and most competitive since the establishment of the competition. It is also a professional skill competition with the highest specifications, the largest scale and the widest coverage in the field of higher pharmaceutical education in China.

Since the launch of the competition, college of pharmacy has attached great importance to, carefully organized, selected representative players, and carried out targeted training to ensure the smooth completion of the competition. After one and a half hours of experimental theory in the morning and four hours of basic experimental operation skills in the afternoon, the participants of our college were calm and showed the judges the solid basic theoretical knowledge of pharmacy and skilled experimental operation skills of Jiangsu University students.

College of pharmacy will actively summarize the experience of the competition, closely combine with the requirements of national first-class undergraduate major construction, give full play to the positive role of experimental teaching in course teaching, effectively promote the reform of experimental teaching, comprehensively train students' professional quality and professional ability, and improve the quality of pharmaceutical talent training.
