On September 28th, the School of Pharmacy held an introduction lecture on pharmaceutical majors in Room 304 of Sanjiang Building. This lecture was delivered by Xu Weidong, Director of the Department of Pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy, Sun Jing, Deputy Director, and Cao Jin, Teacher of the Department of Pharmaceutical Formulations. All 2023 undergraduate students majoring in pharmacy participated.

The lecture revolves around topics that new students are concerned about, such as professional training objectives, teaching staff, curriculum design, graduation requirements, and employment directions. At the beginning of the lecture, each department introduced the historical evolution and unique advantages of pharmacy and pharmaceutical preparation majors. Subsequently, based on the latest version of the talent cultivation plan, the training objectives and curriculum system of each major were emphasized, while encouraging students to strictly demand themselves and lay a solid foundation of professional knowledge. In addition, the department heads also introduced the employment directions and prospects of each major based on their past years of postgraduate entrance exams and employment situations.

The content of this professional introduction lecture is detailed, and the freshmen are actively thinking and asking questions, creating a lively atmosphere on site.
