On September 12, 2024, on the occasion of the CBE Hangzhou International Beauty Expo, Associate Professor Cao Jin, a teacher from the Department of Pharmacy of our college, was invited to participate in the second China Anti-Aging Cosmetics Academic Forum and the Third China Anti-Aging Conference Hangzhou Branch venue, and participated in the discussion session of "Innovation and Development of Anti-aging Cosmetics for industry, University, research and Medicine" as a guest. As a representative of teachers from universities, I discussed the innovative development of anti-aging cosmetics in China with dermatologists from top three hospitals, founders of high-tech cosmetics companies, and general managers of bio-pharmaceutical companies. Professor Cao Jin expressed his own views on the role and innovation of pharmacy in the research and development of anti-aging cosmetics, and introduced the construction of cosmetic science and technology micro-major in our hospital.

The forum provided an opportunity for in-depth exchanges between our faculty and cosmetics industry professionals, laying the foundation for future cooperation and exchanges. At the same time, the micro major of cosmetic science and technology in our school was promoted, which contributed to the improvement of teaching quality and provided opportunities for professional development.
