The 17th China University Student Beach Volleyball Championship was held in Yunyang County, Chongqing from July 16 to 21, with 129 teams from 69 universities across the country participating. The China College Students Beach Volleyball Championship is the highest level, largest scale and most influential annual beach volleyball event for college students in China. The competition is conducted by male and female sunshine group, male and female Sports Institute group, male and female high-level group, male and female professional group. The three teams formed by Jiangsu University, led by Li Zongtang, deputy director of the Sports Department, and coached by Ge Yuhui and Song Qingyao, participated in the women's Sunshine Group, men's high-level group and men's Professional Group. The athletes overcame the adverse effects of high heat and intense competition, united and cooperated, and fought hard. Li Yu from the College of Pharmacy and Zhang Le from the College of Food and Hygiene won the runner-up of the women's Sunshine group.

The event is sponsored by the Chinese University Sports Association and Yunyang County People's Government, the Volleyball branch of the Chinese University Sports Association, and Jiangsu Yiming Sports Culture Communication Co., LTD.
